Dunno about you, but I'm not a great shopper, in fact I'm a terrible shopper.

Faced with making a decision between 100s of choices is something akin to purgatory for me...and I'm guessing there are others out there who feel the same.

Often too I don't know exactly what I am looking for, so going to a particular shop or a particular online store doesn't always work.

So as an antidote to the myriad of sites out there offering a ridiculous number of choices and as a solution to having to find one cool thing as a gift for someone or for myself, we have created: "One Cool Thing A Week".

Based in San Diego, California, and with Australian roots we are a bunch of ordinary guys who want to share cool things with likeminded folk who don't want to be bombarded with advertising, don't want to spend hours researching or making decisions to make shopping a quick and enjoyable experience.

We've removed the pressure of decisions and the hassle of the normal online shopping experience.
